1. Purpose and Scope
This Agreement governs acceptable use of U2X services, including link shortening, QR codes, media uploads, SMS-related tools, visitor-capture features, dashboards, analytics, storage, and other services made available through U2X.
This Agreement applies to both Jordan-based and international U2X accounts unless a specific service states otherwise.
2. Account Responsibility
- You must provide accurate and current registration, business, country, mobile, and contact information.
- You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You must promptly notify U2X if you believe your account, password, or access credentials have been compromised.
- You may not transfer, sell, rent, or share account access in a way that circumvents service limits, billing rules, security controls, account restrictions, or other U2X protections.
- You are responsible for the actions of employees, contractors, agents, or other persons who use U2X through your account.
3. Lawful and Authorized Use
You may use U2X only for lawful business or personal purposes and only for data, content, recipients, links, customer information, and communications that you are legally authorized to use.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of U2X complies with the laws and regulations that apply to you, your business, your customers, and your recipients.
4. Prohibited Use
You must not use U2X to:
- send spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or communications that violate applicable consent, advertising, privacy, telecommunications, or direct-marketing requirements;
- engage in fraud, phishing, impersonation, deception, harassment, threats, abusive conduct, or misleading commercial practices;
- create or distribute misleading links, QR codes, login pages, payment pages, credential-collection pages, or redirects;
- upload, distribute, link to, or promote unlawful, infringing, malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or harmful content;
- distribute malware, viruses, malicious scripts, spyware, credential-stealing code, or other harmful software;
- infringe copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, publicity rights, contractual rights, or other legal rights;
- collect, process, publish, sell, transfer, or disclose personal information without an appropriate legal basis, required permission, or required notice;
- attempt to bypass quotas, usage limits, access controls, moderation, security protections, account restrictions, billing controls, subscription rules, or technical limitations;
- interfere with U2X systems, test or probe vulnerabilities without authorization, or use automated activity in a manner that materially harms performance, availability, or other users;
- use U2X for any activity prohibited by applicable law.
5. SMS and Customer Communications
If you use U2X to send SMS or other customer communications, you are responsible for ensuring that each recipient may lawfully be contacted.
This includes obtaining and maintaining any consent required by applicable law, using accurate sender identification, maintaining appropriate recipient records, and honoring opt-out or unsubscribe requests.
Bulk or group messaging must not be used to contact persons who have not lawfully agreed to receive the relevant communication where such agreement is required.
You must not use false, misleading, deceptive, or unauthorized sender names, sender IDs, message content, URLs, or contact details.
6. Visitor Capture and Personal Data
If you collect mobile numbers or other visitor/customer information through U2X, including through QR DialPad, tablet, visitor-capture, or similar features, you are responsible for providing any required notice and obtaining any required consent.
You must collect only information reasonably related to your stated purpose and handle that information in accordance with applicable privacy and data-protection requirements.
You are responsible for how collected customer or visitor information is exported, stored, used, transferred, contacted, or shared after it is collected through U2X.
7. Uploaded Media, Links and QR Codes
You are responsible for all files, URLs, shortened links, QR destinations, messages, images, videos, PDFs, landing pages, and other content you submit or make available through U2X.
You must have all rights and permissions required to use that content and to direct users to the relevant destination.
You remain responsible for destination content even when U2X only provides the short link, QR code, upload, or redirect mechanism.
U2X may review, reject, disable, suspend, or remove content, links, QR codes, uploaded files, or related access when reasonably necessary to enforce this Agreement, protect users, comply with law, respond to abuse, or protect the service.
8. Subscription, Credits and Storage
Plan limits, URL credits, SMS-related entitlements, storage, validity periods, and other service allowances are determined by the applicable U2X plan, subscription, purchase, or approval.
Additional upload storage is linked to the validity of the relevant active subscription. Purchased extra storage does not create a separate perpetual storage entitlement unless U2X expressly states otherwise in writing.
When the relevant subscription expires, storage availability and related entitlements may become unavailable until the subscription is renewed or activated again.
U2X may apply technical limits necessary to enforce purchased quantities, validity periods, available storage, URLs, messages, branches, QR pages, or other plan-based entitlements.
9. Monitoring, Moderation and Security
U2X may use technical and administrative measures to prevent abuse, enforce service limits, review uploaded media, identify suspicious activity, protect infrastructure, and investigate potential policy violations.
U2X may temporarily restrict a feature or account while suspicious activity is being reviewed.
These measures do not transfer responsibility for your use of the service, your communications, your recipients, or your content to U2X.
10. Suspension or Termination
U2X may restrict, suspend, or terminate access when there is a reasonable basis to believe that an account:
- violates this Agreement;
- creates a security, legal, fraud, spam, or abuse risk;
- misuses or attempts to bypass U2X technical controls;
- fails to satisfy applicable payment, approval, subscription, or validity requirements;
- creates material risk to U2X systems, providers, users, or reputation;
- must be restricted to comply with applicable law or a lawful request.
Where practical, U2X may contact the account holder before or after such action. Immediate action may be taken where security, abuse, legal, or fraud concerns require it.
11. Service Availability
U2X may update, maintain, change, limit, replace, or discontinue features from time to time.
Service availability can depend on hosting providers, telecommunications providers, SMS providers, third-party APIs, internet connectivity, payment services, networks, and other systems outside U2X's direct control.
Temporary interruptions, maintenance, provider outages, or external service limitations may affect availability of individual U2X features.
12. User Responsibility for Compliance
You are responsible for determining which laws, regulatory requirements, industry rules, contractual obligations, consent requirements, privacy requirements, and telecommunications rules apply to your use of U2X.
This responsibility applies both in the country where your account or business is located and in countries where your customers, visitors, recipients, or data subjects are located.
Availability of a U2X feature in a country does not itself mean that every possible use of that feature is legally permitted in that country.
13. Changes to this Policy
U2X may revise this Agreement from time to time.
Each published policy may have its own version number and effective date. U2X may require existing users to review and accept a new policy version before continuing to use their account.
Where re-acceptance is not required, material changes may be communicated through the website, account interface, email, or another reasonable method.
14. Governing Framework
Unless mandatory applicable law requires otherwise, this Agreement is governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
Mandatory consumer, privacy, telecommunications, data-protection, or other legal protections that apply in a user's jurisdiction remain applicable where they cannot lawfully be excluded.
